From Italian, Ombra means shadow. For the raw azurite shows a deep blue that appears almost black in the shadow and reveals its full tone in the light. Its irregular structure forms the core of the design. The setting follows the natural shape modestly, so the character of the mineral clearly stands out.

HOW DOES IT HOLD?
A fine arc behind the ear connects the upper ring with the gemstone and uses the natural shape of your ear shell for perfect hold. We have been working with this technique for over 27 years and can assure you: It holds! Once individually adjusted, the Earcuff sits comfortably and securely – all day long, without slipping.
MATERIAL
This Capolavori jewel is crafted by Nella using a tin-silver soldering technique. The base material of the setting consists of 100% certified, recycled 925 silver. Sterling silver is a light precious metal with a distinctive shine, made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Slight oxidation is normal but can be easily removed by gentle polishing.
Our gold vermeil is not ordinary gilding: each piece is made from solid sterling silver and coated with a particularly thick layer of 18-carat gold. With proper care, the shine will last for many years.
