925 STERLING SILVER
We work with recycled, certified 925 sterling silver, a precious metal valued for its beauty and durability. It consists of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper, which gives it stability and resilience. The 925 stamp on many of our pieces confirms the high purity level. With regular care, the natural shine is preserved, and frequent wearing can even prevent oxidation.
GOLD VERMEIL
Our Gold Vermeil jewelry pieces are made from 925 sterling silver and refined with an especially thick layer of 24k gold. To achieve the coveted cool gold tone, an 18k top layer is applied at the end. This high-quality gilding is more durable than conventional coatings and ideal for everyday use. With proper care, our jewelry retains its shine and color for many years. As with all our designs, we use only recycled and certified precious metals. A combination of responsibility and timeless aesthetics.
For lovers of a more intense yellow gold tone, we currently also offer a 24k custom-made option at no extra charge. Simply indicate it as an order note in the shopping cart.
JANS ENAMEL
Enamel mainly consists of glass, which is made from natural raw materials and contains no harmful additives. It is durable, colorfast, and makes jewelry especially long-lasting, so no additional surface protection is necessary. Since enamel is recyclable and has a very long lifespan, it is considered comparatively environmentally friendly. Compared to many synthetic coatings, it is a fair and sustainable choice.
GEMSTONES & PEARLS
Our gemstones and pearls are handpicked. Between 2000 and 2010, Nella gathered our current stock at large mineral and pearl fairs in Germany; always with a keen eye for quality, color, and shape. Often it was precisely the special shape of a stone that sparked an idea in her about how it could later look as a piece of jewelry. Today, we consciously continue to work with these stocks to conserve further resources.
Unique pieces
We create our unique pieces using a special tin-silver soldering technique. In this process, 925 sterling silver wire is shaped by hand and then joined with lead- and nickel-free tin, which provides stability and a smooth appearance. Tin is durable, corrosion-resistant, and hypoallergenic: ideal for sensitive skin. Since it is 100% recyclable and often made from secondary raw materials, this technique is not only particularly artisanal but also a responsible choice.
CRYSTALS
For our jewelry pieces, we use zirconia, a clear-cut crystal that reflects the brilliance of a diamond. Zirconia is a sustainable alternative to diamonds, as it is manufactured in the laboratory and does not burden natural resources. With its pure radiance and precise craftsmanship, it represents modern style and responsible design.
