How it all began
In 1998, Nella began designing jewelry that can be worn without pierced ears. Her vision was to create an art object for the ear. From the first sketches to the first major collection, it was a journey full of passion and creativity.

UNIQUE PIECES
In the first years, Nella created unique pieces entirely by hand. Initially, these designs were simply called ear cuffs. Over the years, the craftsmanship was refined, but the design language remained. These pieces today form the heart of our Classics collection; handcrafted Earcuffs with gemstones, pearls, and fossils.

ROSALI COLLECTION
In 2005, a distinctive design line was created, the Rosali collection; flowing, elegant shapes that fit gracefully around the ear. Nella was represented at arts and crafts markets and fairs throughout Germany.

SINA
In 2016, Nella's daughter Sina became part of the company and took over marketing and sales as well as branding and corporate identity. From Nella's vision, a family-run jewelry label was born.

From Nelly to nella
As many customers know, the first name of our founder ends with y. What only family and friends know: Since childhood, Nelly has been lovingly called Nella. A nickname that finally found its way into the logo of our label in 2019. Nelly becomes Nella. Here you can find out why.

JAN SCHÄFER
A new face that belongs to the family: Since 2020, Sina's dad Jan has been part of our team with his collection and enriches the online store with his enamel art.

AHIMSA
Out of our love for animals and the desire to combine animal welfare with our jewelry, the Ahimsa collection was created. Since December 2020, we have been supporting the sanctuary of Lasst die Tiere leben e.V.. With every sale, 10% of the proceeds go towards the rescue and care of animals from factory farming that have been saved from slaughter.

WILDLIFE
In 2021, we dedicated our Wildlife collection to Michi Schreiber, and since then, 10% of every sale of a piece of jewelry goes to her association for animal and species protection: AFFENSTARK e.V.. The association rescues, cares for, and rehabilitates injured and confiscated primates and wild animals to enable them to live a life in freedom.

MASTERPIECES
A tribute to craftsmanship. Translated from Italian: Masterpieces - CAPOLAVORI. It is a strictly limited collection that appears at irregular intervals. Each edition consists of a few handcrafted pieces of jewelry. Each one exists only exactly once.
