Many of our jewelry pieces bear a special engraving: Nelly. Perhaps you have wondered why it does not say Nella & Sina there, the name of our jewelry label? The answer lies in the history of our company, which began in 1998.
NELLY'S JOURNEY
Our founder had a vision over 27 years ago: to create exceptional ear jewelry. Even then, it was important to her to use high-quality materials and to design each piece with love for detail.
FROM NELLY TO NELLA
When it came to registering an official brand, we faced a big challenge: the name Nelly was already taken in the trademark register. Fortunately, Nella was not only a beautiful alternative but also a name that was more than familiar to her. Since her childhood, Nelly has been lovingly called Nella . A nickname that eventually also found its way into the logo of our label.
THE NEXT GENERATION
When Sina became part of the company, our family business grew out of the small jewelry label. Nella & Sina now stands for our shared passion for fair, unique jewelry. Nevertheless, we decided to keep the original engraving Nelly; as a reminder of the history of our brand and the beginning of a special journey.

In 1998, Nella began designing earrings that work completely without ear piercings. With the Rosali collection, she brought her vision to the point in 2005: extraordinary designs combined with an innovative way of wearing that does not pinch and yet holds securely. Unlike clips or clamps, her pieces gently hug the ear.
